Star Wars: The Clone Wars
I was showing my GF star wars on Saturday and we were watching the clone wars.....it was that time. I had showed her the original trilogy already so i had to show the new one. we watched phantom menace a while back. so we were watching the clone wars. That movie is easily the worst of the 6. I do like lots of parts about that movie however. I like a lot of the locales, I like the ObiWan plot and I like the fighting.
So when Obiwan is captured by Dooku, before Anakin and Padme get to the planet, Dooku tells Obi Wan what is going on: that there is a sith lord in charge of the galactic senate who has brainwashed so many senators into following him. He says this dark lord will end up ruling the republic and that he invites Obi Wan to join him to stop the Dark Lord. He says the trade federation was betrayed by this dark lord 10 years ago, which is when the clones were commissioned to be built, by the jedi.....but i was reading that Dooku split off from the Jedi and joined the Trade Federation. he is literally telling Obi Wan what is about to happen to the Jedi, and Obi Wan spits in his face. We know that Sidious is the bad guy. its pretty dang obvious. So, is this the moment of greatest tragedy? Dooku is trying to stop Sidious and SAVE the republic and NONE of the Jedi listen. Not Yoda, Obiwan, Mace Windu. It's in front of their faces if they open their eyes to see it. The Jedi are their own tools of destruction....I had never even thought about that before and for some reason....it made me enjoy the movie that much more

For Some Reason
I am having some sort of connection to this movie. There's just, I don't know, something about it that I identify with at this point in my life. I don't know. Maybe there's some profound cosmic factors going on in the movie that I'm being drawn to. Or maybe its the fact that they dont know either. None of them really seem to know anything.
I don't really know anything. Maybe that's why I like it so much.

Love this show
Leslie Knope is adorable. She's so perky and nice and happy. She's way too optimistic. She shouldn't like her job that much. But she does. And it's very endearing.
And April is still really cute.

Really Cute
April's Crush on Andy is adorable. It's because it's very faintly hinted at. It's genius.
And I love Andy Samberg. He's awesome.

Independence Day
There are few movies I know so well. Only Super Troopers and Groundhog Day (maybe Beerfest) are movies that I also know word for word, sound for sound like ID4.
Nostalgia for the 90s out the ass.
Where Will Smith showed he wasn't just fresh prince.
Eagle 1- Fox 2!
Welcome to fucking urf

I haven't updated this in a while.
There's sort of a good reason for that. I think. Movies and TV shows have just stopped interesting me. I haven't seen half of the new Sunnys. I haven't seen most of the new 30 Rocks, the League, the Office, or anything. The last movie I saw was Chronicles of Narnia and guess what? I didn't like it. But that's cause it was the Chronicles of Narnia. It was a kid's movie.
Netflix has made my impatient. The movies are all so bad that I just don't care anymore about them. Dan was talking about how he watches so many TV shows and I haven't watched a TV show in so long. I have other interests and TV and Movies are long. A movie that takes an hour is an hour you could spend doing something else. Even just playing video games in my mind is a better use of time.
But I will say Jersey Shore is really really funny.

Can't stop thinking about this show

And this line. This line slays me. I wonder if they built the whole running joke of confusing fire with golf because of this. And this clip is just perfeet. "I am a giddy goat" "oh, typical" "subject: fire. dear sir/madam, fire, exclamation point, fire, exclamation, help, exclamation point"

Shows about people not doing much work also are very funny to me. Especially this one. What the company actually does is never revealed actually, making it even funnier. I love Denholm's face when he says this too. Classic.

The Office
Been watching a lot of the office. I've been really liking it. It goes in and out for me. Sometimes it's funny, other times its not. but now, I just think it's hilarious. I like to think of Michael Scott being a secret genius, like Stanley says, but I don't think he is. He says too many retarded things to actually being screwing with people that much. It would be great if he was just being really really really patronizing and sarcastic to everyone all the time.
Such as his obsession with Jim. What if he was just doing it because Jim thinks he is so cool, so Michael plays into Jim's narcisism by constantly being like "oh cmon you're my best friend. we're best friends. you're so cool. I wanna be a part of your wedding. Let's go out to dinner. etc.". But WHAT IF Michael actually was neutral towards Jim. What if he hated him. WHAT IF it was all just a really mean ploy to make Jim feel rediculous. I'd watch that show.
I also love Dwight. His character gets really good in Season 6, I have to say.

Lots of Movies
Lately, I've been having movie marathons with Donnie. I really enjoy them. We've watched a bunch of movies. It's almost as if when you start watching a lot of movies, it becomes easier to watch more and more. Because you spend lots of time thinking about what movie you're going to watch if you don't watch often. Because you need to use this rare time in the most efficient manner. In the same vein as only using drugs when there is something really good to do. We've watched:
- Grandma's Boy
- Batman Begins
- The Dark Knight
- Lord of the Rings: Return of the king
- Lord of War
- Skeleton Key
- Dogma
But by myself, I've watched
- Brick
- Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou
- Drowning Mona
And we're going to watch another tonight. Pumped.
